At Fakeeh we take the privacy of your information seriously and are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We ask that your read our privacy notice carefully as it explains what information we collect about you, how well use that information, who well share it with, the circumstances when we share it and what’s steps we will take to make sure it stay private and secure

When you use the Fakeeh Mobile Healthcare App we will collect information about the device the APP is installed on e.g. device identification numbers and about your Medical records with us and associated details.

We will collect this information directly from you e.g. when you visit Fakeeh Hospital or you enter the information into App. We use the above information to deliver the services offered in App and we need to process it in order to carry out the agreement we have with you.

We may also use that information together with information about your location (your precise location) and information about your usage of the App e.g. how long you spend on particular pages for the following purposes. The lawful basis for this usage is that we have legitimate business interest to improve our services to best meet our customer’s needs, and to provide services we think are relevant to them.

• Tailoring the content and the services that you’re offered through App
• Understanding how our customers use their accounts
• Monitoring trends in product offerings
• Developing propositions and products and target them appropriately
• Identifying products and offers which may be interest to you
• Making the app services better for you

The App may store all the above information securely on your device and access it when required.

Who is covered under this Policy?

All natural persons whose personal information is either collected / received/possessed/stored/dealt in/ handled by Fakeeh care during the visitor’s visit to our Hospitals and Clinics. The “Information” i.e. any of the following

• Personal/private information of the Covered Persons
• Sensitive personal data or information

Definitions used in this policy:

"Personal information" means any information that relates to a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available with a body corporate, is capable of identifying such person.

"Sensitive personal data or information" of a person means such personal information which consists of information relating to:

• financial information such as credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details
• physical, physiological and mental health condition
• ID number

provided that, any information that is freely available or accessible in public domain or any other law for the time being in force shall not be regarded as sensitive personal data or information for these purposes.

Data We Collect

With your explicit permission, our app uses Health Connect to access the following health data:

• Blood Pressure
• Heart Rate
• Heart Rate Variability
• Oxygen Saturation
• Body Temperature
• Blood Glucose
• Body-mass Index

This data is collected only after you grant permission through Health Connect.

How We Use Your Data

We use your health data to:

• Display your vitals in the Home page > Wearable Devices section of the app
• Categorize your vitals (e.g., Normal, High, Low) based on age-appropriate medical guidelines
• Help you track and manage your health

This data is processed on your device and shown only to you by default.

When Data Is Shared

Health data is not sent to our server by default. We only transmit your health data to our server if and only if you explicitly click the “Submit” button in the app. This allows your assigned healthcare provider to access and review your vitals.

• If you click “Back” or “Cancel”, your data stays on your device and is not transmitted.
• We do not share your data with advertisers or third parties.
• We do not use your data for marketing or analytics.

Data Security

We are committed to protecting your data:

• Access to stored data is restricted to authorized healthcare professionals.
• No unnecessary data is collected or retained.

User Control

You are in full control of your data:

• You can choose not to submit your data—simply click Back to skip sharing.

The Features of the Policy:

All Information collected shall be used for the relevant lawful purposes connected with various functions or activities of Fakeeh care related to services in which the Concerned Person is interested, and/or to help determine the eligibility of the Concerned Persons for the product/services requested/ applied/ shown interest in and/or to enable Fakeeh care the Covered Persons verification and/or process applications, requests, transactions and/or maintain records as per internal/legal/regulatory requirements and shall be used to provide the Concerned Person with the best possible services/products as also to protect interests of Fakeeh care.

The Information shall not be shared with any external organization unless the same is necessary to protect the interests of Fakeeh Care or to Fakeeh Care to provide you services or to enable the completion/compilation of a transaction or the same is necessary or required pursuant to applicable Hospital norms or pursuant to the terms and conditions applicable to such Information as agreed to with Fakeeh Care or pursuant to any requirement of law/regulations or any Government/court/other relevant authority’s directions/orders. Needless to add, confidentiality norms as applicable to Fakeeh Care shall be adhered to. Fakeeh Care may also share Information to provide you with superior services and a range of offers.

We may also share your Information, without obtaining your prior written consent, with government agencies mandated under the law to obtain information for the purpose of verification of identity, or for prevention, detection, investigation including cyber incidents, prosecution, and punishment of offences, or where disclosure is necessary for compliance of a legal obligation. Any Information may be required to be disclosed to any third party by us by an order under the law for the time being in force.

In this regard, it may be necessary to disclose the Covered Persons information to one or more agents and contractors of Fakeeh Care and their sub-contractors, but such agents, contractors, and sub-contractors will be required to agree to use the information obtained from Fakeeh Care only for these purposes.

Information provided by you are retained (for later of the) (i) as long as the purposes for which such data were collected continue. Or (ii) for such period so as to satisfy legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect Fakeeh Care 's interests.

Fakeeh Care also may disclose information about you as permitted or required by law.

Fakeeh Care, we value your relationship and will at all times strive to ensure your privacy.

Fakeeh Care integrates with Apple’s HealthKit framework on iOS to offer personalized health-related features and insights. We are fully committed to ensuring the privacy and security of your health data, and all information is handled in accordance with platform-specific privacy guidelines and user consent.

Data Retention and Deletion

Fakeeh Care retains personal and health-related information only for as long as necessary to provide services through the app, comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and medical record retention requirements, and protect the legitimate interests of Fakeeh Care.

User account information, appointment data, and submitted medical or health data are retained while the user account remains active or as required under applicable laws and healthcare regulations.

Users may request deletion of their personal data and account at any time by contacting us at info@fakeeh.care with their registered mobile number or email address.

Upon receiving a valid data deletion request, Fakeeh Care will delete or anonymize the requested data within 30 working days, except where retention of such data is required by law, regulatory obligations, or for medical record compliance.

Backup copies of data, if any, are retained for a limited period for security, disaster recovery, and compliance purposes and are automatically removed in accordance with our internal backup retention policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Fakeeh Care may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Fakeeh will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
